It is important to introduce your puppy to grooming at any early age.  As soon as you bring your puppy home the grooming process can help form a bond, it will also help your pup adjust to being handled and brushed.

I prefer to introduce puppies to grooming at around 11-14 weeks.  My aim is to make the whole process as stress free for you and your pup as possible.  For this reason I offer a Puppy Intro Grooming Service.  I will meet with you and your puppy, introducing them to the sights and sounds of the grooming salon.

The Puppy Intro Groom will then include:

• A nice relaxing hydrobath using 100% natural products individually selected to suit the skin and coat type of your puppy
• Soothing hand dry
• Followed by a slight trim to pads and feet 
• Minimal facial trim (mainly around eyes) 
• Hygiene tidy 
• Nail trim 
• Finished with a refreshing spray of cologne

We can then arrange a follow-up groom in a few weeks' time where the clippers will be introduced and a full groom completed.  Carrying out a puppy's first groom this way helps build trust between the puppy and the groomer, leading to future grooming sessions being relaxed and stress free, just as they should be.
